Practical project with an international perspective: DH student gains experience at GEZE Polska
A dual study program combines theory and practice. At GEZE, it also means broadening your horizons. As part of her practical project, our DH student Ines Bonfert spent several weeks at our subsidiary GEZE Polska in Warsaw. There, she gained valuable insights into international processes and experienced how enriching collaboration across borders can be.
Learning where collaboration comes to Life
GEZE Polska
In product management, different perspectives and close collaboration with various departments are part of everyday work. That’s why Ines travelled to Warsaw for her practical project. Together with colleagues at GEZE Polska, she explored production processes in depth and worked closely with the people responsible for them. Seeing the operations firsthand helped her better understand how everything fits together and connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It also highlighted how closely our international locations work together to develop solutions for customers around the world.
International experience during your studies
A dual study program at GEZE offers the opportunity to take on responsibility early and contribute to real projects. In many cases, it also includes an international placement. Practical phases are much more than a glimpse behind the scenes. They provide space to share your ideas, learn about processes and gain valuable experience for your future career.
For Ines, her time in Warsaw was a particularly rewarding experience—not only professionally. Alongside insights into production processes and international collaboration, it was the personal connections that made the biggest impression on her:
One of my biggest learning experiences was discovering how much you can gain by reaching out to people with an open mind—both professionally and personally. Connecting with my colleagues there and gaining new perspectives was incredibly rewarding.
The placement at GEZE Polska was a great example of how varied a practical project can be. Alongside professional topics, it focused on connecting with international colleagues and experiencing a different work culture. Experiences like these not only deepen your understanding of global collaboration but also support personal growth.
More than theory and practice

Students on a dual study program at GEZE contribute to real projects from the outset and get to know different areas of the business. The insights they gain go far beyond the lecture hall and help lay the foundation for their future careers.
