Saving lives together: Successful blood donation campaign at GEZE
Social responsibility in action: Blood donations save lives - and this was once again demonstrated at GEZE. In co-operation with the German Red Cross (DRK), a large blood donation campaign was held at the headquarters in Leonberg. The special thing about it: Employees were able to donate during working hours to replenish the currently scarce blood reserves. The result speaks for itself: 98 committed donors, including 46 first-time donors, made a valuable contribution to society.

The response to the campaign was overwhelming:
- 98 donors in total
- 46 first-time donors who decided to donate blood for the first time
- 51 repeat donors who already had experience of donating blood
- 79 successful donations that can directly save lives
As 0.5 litres of blood was donated per person, a total of 39.5 litres of blood was collected - a great result that shows how strong the team spirit is at GEZE.

Donating blood is a simple but immensely important act of solidarity. Especially in times of scarce reserves, every donation is valuable. The opportunity to donate during working hours made it easier for our employees to get involved. We are particularly pleased that the high number of first-time donors shows that many of them have become involved in blood donation for the first time as a result of this campaign. "It's impressive to see how many colleagues took part. It shows how strong our team spirit and sense of responsibility are. We are proud of everyone who donated," said one of the campaign organisers.
