Sustainability with distinction: GEZE receives the EcoVadis bronze medal

At GEZE, sustainability is not a trend, but an integral part of our corporate DNA. As an internationally active family business, we take responsibility – for our employees, our products and our environment. A visible result of this commitment is the EcoVadis bronze medal award for our sustainability management.

What lies behind the EcoVadis medal

EcoVadis is one of the leading independent sustainability rating platforms. Companies worldwide are assessed in four areas: Environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainability in procurement. EcoVadis medals are awarded to the top 35% of companies – bronze to companies in the top third with a solidly established sustainability management system.

Important:

  • The medal is not an "advertising seal", but reflects a structured, verified sustainability management system.
  • The assessment focuses not only on what a company promises, but also on how professionally processes, guidelines and measures are embedded in everyday life.
  • EcoVadis is based on internationally recognised standards and is therefore considered a relevant benchmark for responsible business practices in the market.

Responsibility in everyday life – not just in the annual report

At GEZE, sustainability does not begin with the product, but in our daily interactions with one another. These include, among others:

  • Resource-efficient processes along our value chain – from development and production to services and logistics
  • Long-term, fair partnerships with suppliers and customers
  • A clear focus on security, quality and durability in our door, window and security systems – because durable products are inherently more sustainable.
  • This is how we combine Swabian ingenuity with the responsible use of resources – and create buildings that are worth living in.

Good working conditions as part of sustainability

GEZE Young Talents

EcoVadis also explicitly assesses labour and human rights issues – an area that directly affects your working environment.

For GEZE, this means, for example:

  • Reliable, fair working conditions in a stable family business
  • Focus on occupational safety and health protection
  • Opportunities for further training and personal development
  • International cooperation on equal terms – with colleagues from 37 subsidiaries

In short: For us, sustainability also means creating conditions in which you can work healthily, motivated and successfully in the long term.

Sustainable procurement and transparent supply chains

In a globally networked world, responsibility does not end at the factory gates. That is why we invest in:

  • Standards and processes for sustainability in procurement
  • Transparency in our supply chains
  • Long-term partnerships with suppliers who share our values

EcoVadis assesses precisely these aspects – and confirms that we are structured and professional in this regard.
