Top Employer award: GEZE receives Top Job seal of approval

Employer attractiveness is a top priority at #GEZE – which makes us all the more happy about being named a top employer with the “Top Job” seal of approval. GEZE CEO Sandra Alber received the award on behalf of GEZE from the hands of former Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Wolfgang Clement in Berlin on 22 February 2019.

The Centre for Employee Attractiveness – zeag GmbH – awards the “Top Job” quality seal to honour companies that are committed to a healthy workplace culture. This is reflected, for example, in the quality of the company’s leadership work and a high degree of job satisfaction among the workforce – and we were able to win over the judges in both these areas.

“Top Job” mentor Wolfgang Clement praised the award-winning companies in particular for their strategic orientation towards a sustainable supply of skilled workers and the ongoing development of their employer qualities.

Former Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel also thanked the companies in his speech at the award ceremony:

GEZE receives accolade in nationwide “Top Job” comparison

It was above all in the areas of leadership and vision, culture and communication as well as long-term perspectives for our employees that GEZE made such an impression. Excellent employee development and modern HR tools at GEZE

The scientists of the Institute for Leadership and Human Resources Management at the University of St. Gallen, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch, interviewed the HR managers online – for example, with regard to the HR tools they use and the training measures available to employees. Among other things, we rely on a modern, cloud-based HR tool that is used for performance assessment and goal-setting, and supports the personal advancement of each individual employee. Further digital solutions for ongoing training are currently being planned.

One third of the final result was determined by the HR tools being used and two thirds by a scientifically sound survey conducted among the 1100 employees at GEZE’s head office in Leonberg, which revealed a high degree of job satisfaction.

GEZE can now bear the “Top Job” seal of approval for the next two years. But such an accolade is of course no cause for resting on one’s laurels – quite the contrary:

“We are very happy about receiving the ‘Top Job’ seal of approval,” says GEZE CEO Sandra Alber. “And, of course, that our commitment to our employees has been rewarded in this way. Employer attractiveness is firmly anchored in our strategy. With the help of the ‘Top Job’ analysis and the extensive feedback from our employees, we will continue to develop our employer qualities.”

The high standards and active commitment are rewarded: In addition to the "Top Job" award, GEZE has received the “Top Employer” seal of approval for the fifth time in a row, as well as the “Fair Trainee Program 2019” seal.
